New VELES products attracted interest of YUGAGRO visitors
VELES Company presented two units of machinery at the YUGAGRO exhibition, both of which were absolute novelties of 2017 – AN-8 Multipurpose Unit Carrier and BDP-6×4 Four-Row Disc Harrow. Both aggregates were in massive demand among the exhibition visitors.
“In the southern part of Russia, people actively use disc headers with a large diameter,” the Regional Manager of VELES Company Sergei Shmidt says, “Some of the implements are imported. Today they have a rather high cost not only when buying, but also when servicing. The quality of the VELES units has approached the global level, at the same time they are more affordable and cheaper to maintain.”
The VELES team managed to gather many contacts of agricultural producers from all corners of Russia – from Orenburg to the Crimea. The most part of the territories already has the VELES dealer centers. However, the guests could ask questions directly to the plant’s employees at the stand, who told them about the specific features of the machinery operation, possibilities of service maintenance and new developments.
In the near future, two more adapters will be produced for AN-8 – a cultivator for processing vapors and a cultivator for preparing soils to sow rapeseed and sugar beet with an operating width of 8 meters. Thus, when purchasing one carrier, the agrarians will receive a universal frame for three agricultural implements, which will reduce their costs for acquisition and maintenance of the units essentially.
“The market of soil-cultivating machinery in the south of Russia in general and in Krasnodar Region in particular is quite large, and VELES Company is ready for a competitive struggle and an increase in sales in this area,” Sergei Schmidt summarizes. “We have worked with a good result at the YUGRAGRO exhibition”.
