Experiments with the BT-9G harrow
A farmer from the Czech Republic used the tool to incorporate liquid manure into the soil. After the third pass the field was levelled and the liquid manure was incorporated to a depth of about 5 cm.
"The current field conditions (high soil moisture and frequent rainfall) do not allow the use of traditional liquid manure application implements. Any disc harrow or cultivator will immediately get clogged.Therefore, we went for an experiment, and it turned out to be successful. The BT-9G retains the soil structure and does not destroy it as disc and cultivators do, and we plan to use spring harrows to incorporate liquid manure in the future," said a Czech farmer.
