BT-9 VELES " SAVES" DEMO IN HUNGARY
A special part during outdoor exhibitions is traditionally the demonstration of machinery under real field conditions. The organizers of the event in Hungary near the village of Boda agreed with a local farmer to hold a demo demonstration. Field plots were allocated to each exhibitor.The day before the intended event, the exhibitors brought machines from all over the country for setting up and trial runs... But the field had been fully cultivated shortly before. Demonstration of machinery on such field has lost all sense.
The only alternative in walking distance from the exhibition place was a small field with grain stubble. But there were too many crop residues at the new location, and most of the exhibited machines were not designed to work on such field. The equipment was getting clogged with excessive amounts of vegetation. All attempts at plowing failed. In addition the work of service engineers was complicated by the exhausting heat of +39 degrees.
The solution was found
BT-9 VELES spring harrow was designed to work in such conditions. The machine prepared the field evenly distributed all vegetation. Now the field was suitable, the other machines were able to go to the field and demonstrate their work without any problems. The demonstration was successful.
